Little bit about me.
Some people like to draw or paint, some dance or sing and others prefer to play an instrument to express their creativity. I choose to photograph.
When looking for an image, I gravitate towards mundane human-made objects in landscapes and seascapes than the grand vistas nature provides.
I lean heavily towards long exposure techniques with my camera to create images. I prefer black and white as a medium because my goal is to interpret the scene with my mind's eye rather than document it.
I drew when I was young and ended up as a graphic designer in my 20s, but those days are now in the distant past. Today, photography is what keeps my creative mind thinking.
I was born in Manila, Philippines, but grew up and have lived in Melbourne, Australia for most of my life. I continue to reside here with my wife and two kids.
Graduated 1999, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia - Bachelor of Design (Graphic Design).
